VR game makers, take note: Chinese VR firm DeePoon is looking for unreleased VR games, and it's holding a global VR game competitition with a $35,000 prize pool to find them.
The company's Global VR Challenge is notable if you have a VR game prototype or concept kicking around and you'd like to win some money for it, alongside a trip to the ChinaJoy game event in Shanghai this July on DeePoon's dime.
However, there are also some significant caveats: your game can be designed for either PC or mobile VR hardware, but if it's shortlisted to win a prize you've got to get it working on one of DeePoon's multiple VR headsets (for which you'll be given a devkit and dev support.)
The Chinese firm also requires all submitters to to afford the firm a Right of First Offer for rights to publish their game in China ahead of any other parties for six months following the close of contest submissions. Come from South African Online Casinos
